ABOUT TEACHER TRAINING

This unique training is a combination of Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Nidra and Vinyasa yoga styles and weaved together with the modern science of physiotherapy and neuroscience to give students a strong foundation that can be applied to any teaching style. But it also goes much, much deeper. We will explore the many dimensions of the yogic philosophy and lifestyle.

In this Yoga Art Yoga Teacher Training we will use asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga philosophy to bring your whole system into balance using the qualities of each element. From the static alignment based practices of Iyengar and Hatha yoga to the dynamic flowing sequences of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and the deep stillness of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra you will learn the value of each style of yoga.
The training encourages each student to listen deeply their own process and undertake specific practices for self-inquiry held within the group experience.

At the end of the course students leave having learned essential tools and life skills to enhance their health and through which they can inspire others.

You will gain a strong foundation in the tradition and techniques of yoga necessary for competently teach at a 200-hour level. This training is ideal for those considering embarking on a career in teaching yoga, as well as those wanting to transform their life through the practice. You’ll leave this course with a certification from the ®International Yoga Alliance to teach yoga, and with practical tools to actively balance your life and the lives of others.

Confidence-building through practice teaching
Yoga history and philosophy – Introduction to the major texts, The 8 Limbs, Discussion of the Yoga Sutra
Ethics for Yoga Teachers

 

PREREQUISITES:
At least six months of consistent Yoga practicE

$500 deposit is due to hold your space and is nonrefundable

$2.400 when you pay in full by Jun 20. 2019 (including $500 deposit)
$ 2.600 when you pay in full by August 20. 2019 (including $500 deposit)
